Meet Georgia Lynne

My digital design journey has been interesting and rewarding. My career path has been quite varied, but always focused on computers. I’ve been a post-secondary educator since 1995. I’ve taught computer classes from the beginning basics all the way through computer maintenance/repair, networking and server technology. My favorite classes to teach are Web Design and Computer Graphics. I also have taught countless software classes. Even though I’m quite knowledgeable in computer hardware, I prefer digging in and learning software.

I took a break from classroom teaching and spent several years as a corporate Web Designer and Corporate Software Trainer. While working in the Web Design field, I discovered my true PASSION…graphic design and being creative!!

In 2009, I discovered the world of digital scrapbooking. I was immediately hooked on this wonderful process of preserving life’s moments though digital creations. I watched every video, tried every tutorial and downloaded all the digital scrapbooking supplies I could find. I had a blast creating my own digital scrapbook layouts.

The more digital scrapbooking I did, the more I realized that I wanted to be designing digital products. Once again I started taking classes, watching videos, and stepping through any designer information available. In March 2011, I received a newsletter from a digital scrapbooking site that I subscribed to. In the newsletter was an advertisement for a designer call. I decided to ‘GO FOR IT‘ and see if I could make my dream of being a digital designer come true!! I followed all the instructions on the designer call. To my awesome delight, I was accepted as a designer to my first digi-scrap home!! I was beyond excited!!

Currently I am designing for Scrapable. You are welcome to visit my Scrapable store. I truly have found my PASSION and am either thinking about new designs concepts or actually at my computer designing.

I still scrap for myself. These days my favorite pages to scrap are of my granddaughter and my grand-niece. Here are a few of my favorite pages:

My beautiful granddaughter Kimberly celebrating her 12th birthday. I scrapped this layout using my Splendid kit.

And here is a cutie of my grandniece, Evie using my March-Spring kit.
